Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

Quanta (“the app”) is made by Quanta Labs. This policy explains what information the app uses.

The short version: your progress, scores and settings stay on your iPhone. We don’t run servers that collect them. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may collect some device information to serve them.

Information stored on your device

Your quiz settings, scores, progress and reminder preferences are saved only on your device. They are not sent to us, and we do not run any servers that collect them. Deleting the app deletes this data. You can also erase it at any time in the app under Settings → Reset all progress.

Advertising

The app shows ads from Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device type, and how you interact with ads.

On iOS, the app asks your permission before your advertising identifier can be used to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. You can change this at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you’re in a region that requires consent, the app also shows Google’s consent form, and you can change your choices in the app’s Settings under Ad privacy choices.

Google’s use of this information is described in its privacy policy and at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Challenge links

If you use “Challenge a friend,” the app makes a link that carries the challenge itself: a code for the question set, the name you enter, and your results. The challenge details sit after the “#” in the link, which browsers do not send to our website, so they reach only the people you choose to share the link with. We do not store challenges.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules a notification on your device. No information is sent anywhere to do this.

Feedback and problem reports

If you choose to send feedback or report a problem with a question, the app opens an email in your Mail app. It fills in the question details, the app version, and your device type, and you can review or edit everything before sending. Nothing is sent unless you send the email yourself.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
